  8. On the wizard page titled Step 3 of 6: Specify Delimiters, make the following selections
    1. Field Delimiter: Tab
    2. Text Qualifier: Double Quotes
    3. Decimal Indicator: Period
    4. Default Distance: Specify your preference for distance units on how Runner’s Studio will import the activities
    5. Default Weight: Specify your preference for weight units on how Runner’s Studio will import weight data
  9. Click Next
  10. The next step, Step 4 of 6: Define Column Data Format, allows you to associate each imported data element with a data type known by Runner’s Studio.  Follow screen instructions. You will need to select a column and then specify the type of data in that column from the drop down list. Click Assign. You will need to do this for every column before Next will become available.
  11. Step 5 of 6: Verify Data. This screen allows you to test the import. Probably the first row of data is not valid because it is just column headers. You can click on that row then Right Click on that row and then select Delete. Scroll down and examine the data to make sure RS interpreted the data correctly. If you see in data in RED, you can double click on the cell to edit and fix.
  12. Once you think you are ready, hit Validate and Runner’s Studio will make sure the data is valid.
  13. If the data is VALID, Next will become available. Click Next and your data is imported.
  14. Note: On the last screen, the progress bar doesn’t always work and it will look like its stuck. It may take several minutes to import the data if you are importing a large amount of data.
